Creating an inner calm within the wild atmospheric elements of the land and sea.

I was born in Hertfordshire in 1975 but my calling for art came later in life after working and travelling around the Highlands of Scotland and Cornwall. Finding peace from a busy and impatient mind in climbing and walking in this scenery is what has led to a now prolific creativity in my artwork.  I attempt to capture the sense and atmosphere of the landscape balancing between abstract and representational techniques with an expressive brush stroke. 

As an artist, I am drawn to the captivating coastlines and ever-changing skies of Scotland and Cornwall. Through my paintings, I strive to transport viewers to these breath taking rugged landscapes, evoking a sense of serenity and wonder.
